These cover corvexal.net, the pages you are reading. They are not the terms for EMBER or for Aria; those are separate agreements and this page does not stand in for either.

What this site is

A description of what we are building and a way to reach us. Nothing on it is an offer, a quotation, a contract, or advice you should act on without talking to us first.

What it does not promise

We try to keep every page accurate and we correct what we find wrong. We do not promise the site is complete, current, or available without interruption. Anything on it describing work that is still being built is a description of intent and not a commitment to ship it.

Numbers on this site carry their source. If a figure appears without one, treat it as an error and tell us: that is a rule we hold ourselves to, and it is checkable.

What you send us

If you send us something through a form or by email, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to read it, store it and reply to it. Please do not send confidential material, personal data about other people, or anything you are under an obligation to keep private, an ordinary contact form is not a secure channel and we do not treat it as one.

If you send us an unsolicited idea, we may already be working on something similar and we are not taking on an obligation by reading it.

What is ours

The text, the design and the code of this site belong to Corvexal, except where a page names a different author. The two typefaces are third-party work used under the SIL Open Font License, and their licences travel with them in fonts/.

Where this site reproduces someone else's work, it says so and links the licence. That is the whole argument of this company and it applies to its own website first.

Linking out

Where a page links to somewhere else, we are not responsible for what is there and a link is not an endorsement.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using this website. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Which law

Which law governs these terms, and which courts have exclusive jurisdiction, This is not settled yet and is deliberately not guessed at here.

Changes

We may change these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date below moves when it does. This version has not been dated for publication.
